I initially trained as a teacher before going on to work in children’s services and for housing organisations, providing support and encouragement for achieving life goals. I later pursued my passion for wellbeing and trained in fitness and health.
After having a life changing light bulb moment, I realised that I could use all my previous experience to work with people in a way that I love, doing what I enjoy most - helping people realise their strengths and make positive changes to improve their lives and wellbeing, as a coach.
I know how important it is to have someone in your corner supporting you, especially when you face tough challenges. I had very difficult childhood experiences and have also had my share of issues that we all face at some stage, such as the death of a loved one and relationship issues. I mainly had to work things out without any support and to find my own way when I was going through hard times.
As an adult I have had coaching myself and know how powerful it is for helping you to find direction and transform your life. I think how amazing it would have been to have had input from coaching when I was younger and I want to help people to have this support at any stage of life, but particularly in adolescence when there can be so many challenges and lots of change to deal with.
